Hello!

I want to introduce myself to you.  My name is Michele (Shelly) Glaus.  I am the new Activities Director at Canyon Vistas.  I was Glenda Farr’s Assistant at Valle del Oro for the last three years and have enjoyed working with residents there.  I look forward to getting to know everyone at Canyon Vistas.

I was born in Spokane, Washington on Christmas Day and grew up in Colville, Washington.  My father was a funeral director/embalmer so I lived in a mortuary until I left for college.  I attended Brigham Young University majoring in accounting, where I met my husband, Alan.

We  have been married for 36 years and we have seven children, five girls and two boys.  They are scattered from Cincinnati, Ohio, to Seattle, Washington, to Orem, Utah, to Albuquerque, New Mexico, as well as Arizona.  We have seven grandchildren 3 years old and younger with two on the way.  We have lived in Arizona for 8 years and love the sunshine.
