Dancing
At Canyon Vistas, dancing is a major recreation activity as well as a major learning
activity. Each season, several special dances are scheduled along with special activities.
In addition to these, during the 2010-2011 season a number of other dances are scheduled!
Pattern and Choreographed Couples dance have become increasingly popular, and in response to the increased popularity, There is a schedule of lessons for those interested in learning.
Sundays starting January 8th in the Canyon Vistas Ballroom (all classes are $5.00 per couple)
BEGINNERS 1-2 PM
(16 Step, Rita’s Waltz, Barn Dance, Trashy Women
BEGINNERS II 2-3 PM
(North Carolina Stroll, El Paso, Blue Rose, Coffee for 2)
ADVANCED BEGINNERS 3-4 PM
(Monitor, The Shadow, Someone’s Waltz, Sidekick)
