At Canyon Vistas, dancing is a major recreation activity as well as a major learning activity.  Each season, several special dances are scheduled along with special activities.  Some of these include the New Year's Party and Dance, a Valentine's Day Party and Dance, Saint Patrick's Day, and Cinco de Mayo (which we celebrate here as "Cinco de Marcho" since by the fifth of May, most of the Canyon Vistas residents have headed for cooler climes).  In addition to these, during the 2006-07 season a number of other dances listed below are scheduled!  (Scroll down the page to find links to Couples Dance, Line Dance, and Square Dance.)

Canyon Vistas has a resident instructor couple, Dale Dockery and his wife, Pat.  They present sessions of square dance, line dance, and couples dance.
